JACK DURLING

Jack Durling is a contemporary sculptural artist whose imaginative animal-inspired creations explore character, expression and the relationship between people and the natural world. His work combines a playful sense of storytelling with an appreciation for the personality and presence of individual creatures.

Pieces such as Forest Guardian demonstrate his interest in giving animal forms a distinctive identity, encouraging viewers to look beyond their physical appearance and consider the stories they might tell. His sculptures balance observation and imagination, bringing a sense of individuality and intrigue to familiar subjects.

The artworks shown here represent a selection of those featured at The Alchemist Gallery. We invite you to visit us in Sheffield to discover more of Jack's work and experience the collection in person.
